Tengo mucho placer de tener la oportunidad surtida
por la visita de Australia Rotary Exchange Group del Distrito 970 para mandar
este mensaje y extender de parte del pueblo Australiano, grandes saludos al
pueblo Argentino.
El Gobierno Australiano valora mucho el trabajo
continuo de Rotary de promover amistades, entendimiento y buena voluntad entre
las gentes de diferentes razas y diversos fondos sociales y políticos por todo
el mundo.
Yo animo a todos los participantes del Equipo Grupo
de Cambio de Estudio que lleven hasta el máximo las oportunidades facilitadas
por su visita el aprender de primera mano de la vida en Argentina. Yo creo que
nuestros dos países solo podrán beneficiarse del contacto y entendimiento fomentado
entre los ciudadanos individuales por medio de semejante cambios de estudio.

It gives me
great pleasure to have the opportunity provided by the visit of the Australian
Rotary Exchange Group of District 970 to send this message and extend, on
behalf of the people of Australia, warm greetings to the people of Argentina.
The
Australian Government values highly the continuing role of Rotaty in promoting
friendships, understanding and goodwill between people of diverse racial,
social and political backgrounds throughout the world.
I encourage
all participants in the Group Study Exchange Team to maximise the opportunities
afforded by your visit to learn first hand about life in Argentina. I believe
both our countries can only benefit from the contact and understanding fostered
among individual citizens through such study exchanges. .

Estamos absolutamente encantados de mandar al
Distrito 491, un equipo de jóvenes Australianos muy talentosos. Estoy seguro
que ellos probarán ser embajadores excelentes para nuestro país y nuestro
Distrito en particular. No hay duda que el Grupo de Cambio de Estudio es uno de
los mejores programas en que podemos tomar parte. Nada menos que buena voluntad
puede salir de ello, y eso debe de ayudar grandemente en nuestros esfuerzos
hacia el "Entendimiento y Paz Mundial."

MESSAGE OF
GREETING FROM DISTRICT GOVERNOR:
We are
absolutely delighted to be sending to District 491 a team of very talented
young Australians. They will, I am sure, prove to be excellent ambassadors for
our country and our District in particular.
There is no
doubt that the Group Study Exchange is one of the best programmes in which
we can be involved. Nothing but goodwill can come of it, and that must help
greatly in our efforts toward "World Understanding and Peace."
I send
personal greetings to District Governor Horacio Gennari and Marta and to all
the Rotarians of District 491, and their wives.
May this
Group Study Exchange be a resounding success and a very rewarding experience
for the teams and for all people involved. I hope that it results in a lasting
friendship between our two Districts. Good luck.
